A simple, lovely straight-ahead quartet cover of Corinne Bailey Rae's modern classic. Now, there's someone who's working in pop today writing terrific melodies. From 2008's 'Once Upon a Melody,' Javon's backed by Eric Reed on piano, Billy Drummond on drums, and Corcoran Holt doing some HELLA great basswork. I just adore this recording. Jackson's work after the piano solo is so gloriously Coltrane (without, IMO, sounding like he's trying). Ugh...this is just too beautiful.
